To monitor the progress of your Canadian trademark application simply enter the trademark name or application number assigned to the mark in the space provided on CIPO's Trademarks database search site. The results page will give you a hypertext link to the full text of the current application as it appears on CIPO's Trademarks database.

Click the link and you will be able to view the Status of your application.

American Trademark Status Report

To monitor the progress of your American trademark application simply enter the application number assigned to the mark in the space provided on the USPTO's Trademarks database searchable web site and click the "Submit" button. The results page will display the full text of the current status page as it appears on the USPTO's Trademarks database.
